A PERSONAL NOTE
FROM LARA (aka miss behaviour)

Those who know me know that the word ‘should’ is a word I quickly squash, so you can imagine this may seem a contradiction to now be using it in this site.

There is a science to language, and a teaching where 'words carry weight'. Most times than not should is a weighted word that has us reaching for what we think we should be, what we should do and we should have. In doing so we are in comparison, ideals, and non-acceptance of where we are - hence the squashing of this word.

In the case of using should in this website, it’s to bring forward what the true should represents.  If you look up the origin of the word should, we can draw on the word ‘must’. And in this case, for us to truly thrive there are many topics we must learn if we are to truly claim our greatness and shine.  More-so, we must realise that to bring our all is to become a student for life… and to realise we need to do this not just for ourselves, but for those still to come.

The world needs more people who are leading the way, in a new way, that returns us to our true and innate nature with all that brings.  Therefore, this is more of what we must and should have been taught, and still can learn - if we are ever to truly get out of this density and struggles of life.  So perhaps we should get on with it... ;-)

FOR all STUDENTS OF LIFE

AN ONLINE RESOURCE TO INSPIRE, EMPOWER AND EVOLVE

This blog page has been born of the countless times I have heard 'this should have been taught at...' by people of all ages; be it personal or professional training, mentoring or events - it’s always a theme.

So, in light of this theme, and the endless topics that can stem from this query, this is a place where we can continue the momentum of always learning, growing and evolving. Why? To live truly rewarding, enriching and purposeful lives.

My objective is to share navigation tools to help you shift your current paradigms to those of new awareness, fresh possibilities, creating core shifts in thoughts and beliefs.  'I wish I knew this', 'I wish I was shown this', 'I wish they taught me this…' is now at your fingertips.

PS - If there are any specific topics you would like to explore, send me your questions. It will be a personalised response, but sure to resonate with others. Let me know if you would like the question to be anonymous. Email me at lara@missbehaviour.com.au

we are all students for life

by Lara Wilson (aka Miss Behaviour)
"If I had a dollar for every time a client, friends, colleagues say, ‘this should be taught at school’ I would be wealthy. Learning life-skills has long been overlooked by placing importance on ‘subjects’ that are never again used after school life.  And yet to thrive in the world we NEED to know how by learning the essential navigation to meet all that life throws at us..."

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE IMITATION GAME

by Lara Wilson (aka Miss Behaviour)
"We are all imitating someone.  For me in my younger years it was actresses, the cool kids at school and on tv. Then it become my colleagues who were successful, followed with speakers and presenters.  I would study them and then go about reproducing their qualities, style, demeanour and behaviours.  When I look back it was largely how I shaped my personality. If I liked something I would add it to my repertoire..."

what if there were no bad days

by Lara Wilson (aka Miss Behaviour)
"We all get stuck in our ways, ways that we’ve been told, sold and brought into. And then, just like driving a car, we just keep on driving without really having to be conscious of the drive, we just do it in what’s known an unconscious competence level; in other words, we don’t think about it, we just do it.  We live everyday life imbrued by a few of these similar types of habits. Certain paradigms of thought and beliefs that we have assumed are now embedded in our behaviours, and yet they are not necessarily of conscious choice and awareness..."
